Limited Warranty is available for owner-occupied residences only. For multi-family and/or commercial applications, the warranty period is 5-years.

NOTE: On April 1st 2025 resulting from law and regulation changes regarding product registration requirements, below are some of the changes that went in to effect for new purchases/installations beginning 4/1/2025:
- Limited Lifetime Unit Replacement coverage (prior to 4/1/25) transitioned to a 10-year one-time unit replacement for the original registered homeowner.
- Lifetime Heat Exchanger coverage continues as a registered Limited Warranty with a one-time heat exchanger replacement for the years 21-99 to the original registered homeowner.
- Lifetime Unit Replacement and Lifetime Compressor coverages became available for select models as a non-transferable Asure℠ Extended Service Agreement (ESA) purchase option.
- Registration is still required to obtain Limited Warranty coverage (10-year parts, 10-Year Unit Replacement, Lifetime Heat Exchanger, except in certain jurisdictions.
*To receive the 10-Year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty, 99-Year Heat Exchanger Limited Warranty and 10-Year Parts Limited Warranty, online registration must be completed within 60 days of installation. Changes in law, regulations, or technology may result in an equivalent unit not being available. Does an ESA plan cover the whole system, or does each serialized unit need to have an ESA plan?
An ESA plan mush be purchased for each unit needing coverage (ex: Condenser and Furnace would require 2 ESA plans)
Does the new 11-99 Year Unit Replacement ESA provide a replacement unit only if the compressor or heat exchanger fails?
Yes, unit replacement coverage only applies to compressor or heat exchanger failure.
Does a customer need to purchase both the 11-99 Year Unit Replacement ESA and the 11-99 Year Compressor Coverage?
The 11-99 Year Unit Replacement ESA will cover either a full unit replacement if compressor fails OR a compressor only replacement, not both, up to 1 time.
If the homeowner wants to have up to 1 unit replacement AND up to 1 compressor replacement in years 11-99, they will need to purchase both.
Does the 11-99 Year Unit Replacement cover replacement of any other part of the system, such as a coil or air handler, if required to be compatible with the new unit (to be compatible with new refrigerant, as an example)?
No, unit replacement coverage only provides a new unit to replace the failed unit under the warranty.
Tip: In the case of refrigerant compatibility, new 2025 A2L regulation allows for R410A compressors to be available for service/replacement, but new R410 units will not be. Because the 11-99 Year Unit Replacement ESA will cover either a full unit replacement OR a compressor only replacement, it may be beneficial for a homeowner to choose a compressor-only replacement instead of a unit replacement if they are unable to purchase other system components needed (such as a new coil or air handler to be compatible).
Is homeowner registration still required?
Yes, homeowner registration is still required for Limited Warranty coverage (10-year parts, 10-Year Unit Replacement, Lifetime Heat Exchanger). While registration is not required for ESA Plan coverage, it is STRONGLY encouraged to avoid a lapse in coverage.
Are the new 11-99 Year Unit Replacement and 11-99 Year Compressor Plans transferable to new homeowners?
No, coverage is only for the original homeowner on the ESA.
How many times could a unit or compressor potentially be replaced if registered and an ESA is purchased?
One-time unit replacement if compressor fails and unlimited compressors to the original homeowner in years 1-10 under the registered Limited Warranty period PLUS
One-time replacement of a unit if compressor fails OR a compressor-only replacement to the original homeowner in years 11-99 under the Asure ESA plan
