What Daikin’s Ductless Warranty Covers
Daikin’s limited warranties cover parts, not labor. Registration is what unlocks the longer parts coverage, and an Asure℠ Extended Service Plan can add labor coverage.

Why Registration Matters Here
Only a few places, including California, Florida, Georgia and Quebec, don’t allow warranty coverage to be conditioned on registration. In Illinois, registering within 60 days is what gets you the full term.

Asure℠ Extended Service Plans for Mini-Splits
Manufacturer warranties cover parts, not labor. An Asure℠ Extended Service Plan adds labor coverage to a new Daikin ductless system.
12-Year Labor Coverage
Labor plans are available for Daikin mini-split outdoor units and indoor units, with each unit covered by its own plan.
No Deductible
Asure plans are manufacturer-backed, and you’ll never face a deductible.
Add It Within 6 Months
Plans must be submitted within six months of installation, so it’s easiest to add one when we install your system.
Transferable Coverage
Many Asure plans transfer to a new homeowner at no cost.
Plans are for residential systems and cover failures from manufacturing defects, not routine maintenance. They’re available only through an authorized Asure dealer like Rest Assured HVAC. Learn more about Asure plans on the Daikin website.

Do I have to register my Daikin mini-split?
Yes, to get the longer coverage. Daikin requires online registration within 60 days of installation for its 10-Year and 12-Year Parts Limited Warranties. A handful of states and provinces don’t allow coverage to be conditioned on registration, but Illinois isn’t one of them.
Which Daikin ductless systems get the 12-Year Parts Limited Warranty?
Every Daikin ductless line except Entra, Polara and SkyAir, which carry a 10-Year Parts Limited Warranty. That includes Aurora, Atmosphera, Oterra, Vista, Emura, FDMQ, the 19 Series, the LV Series and Daikin multi-zone systems.
Does the Daikin warranty cover labor?
No. Manufacturer warranties don’t cover labor, and Daikin’s is no exception. An Asure℠ Extended Service Plan adds 12 years of labor coverage on Daikin mini-split indoor and outdoor units. We’ll go over the options when we quote your system.
What if the system is installed in a business?
In a commercial application, the limited warranty period is 5 years on most Daikin ductless lines, or 10 years on Polara and SkyAir.
