Radon is a colorless, odorless gas and the leading cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. We don’t test for radon or install mitigation systems. In Illinois, that work must be done by a professional licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), and testing is the only way to know your level.

What humidity should my home be?
Most homes are comfortable between about 40% and 60% relative humidity, adjusted lower on the coldest days to avoid condensation on windows.
Do AprilAire products work with my current system?
Yes. They install on your existing ductwork and furnace or air handler.
Does a whole-home humidifier need maintenance?
Yes. The water panel should be replaced about once a heating season, and we can take care of it during your fall furnace tune-up.
Do you install radon mitigation systems?
