Why Indoor Air Deserves Attention
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency studies have found levels of some pollutants indoors can be two to five times higher than outdoors. Homes are built tighter than ever, which is great for energy bills and not so great for letting stale air out.
As an AprilAire Preferred Partner, we can recommend the right whole-house solution for your home and family, and install it on the system we already service.
AprilAire Healthy Air Products

Whole-Home Humidifiers
Dry winter air means dry skin, sore throats and static shocks. An AprilAire humidifier balances your home’s humidity automatically, around the clock.

Whole-Home Dehumidifiers
Excess moisture leads to mold, mildew, musty odors and pests. AprilAire dehumidifiers pull high volumes of moisture out of the air for well-balanced humidity.

Air Purifiers
Filter out dust, allergens, odors and other airborne particles throughout the house, and help protect your HVAC equipment at the same time.

Thermostats & Zoning
Programmable AprilAire thermostats and zoning let you set different temperatures in different areas and monitor indoor air quality while cutting energy use.

Fresh Air Ventilation
Bring in fresh outdoor air and dilute trapped odors, allergens and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while helping manage humidity.

Radon Control
Radon is a colorless, odorless gas and the leading cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. We don’t test for radon or install mitigation systems. In Illinois, that work must be done by a professional licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), and testing is the only way to know your level.

AprilAire Product FAQs
Do AprilAire products work with my existing furnace and AC?
Yes. AprilAire whole-home products are installed on your existing ductwork and heating and cooling system.
What humidity should my home be?
Most homes are comfortable between about 40% and 60% relative humidity. In an Illinois winter, a humidifier helps you stay in that range without condensation on the windows.
Do you install radon mitigation systems?
We don’t test for radon or install mitigation systems. In Illinois, that work must be done by a professional licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), and testing is the only way to know your level.
Which product should I start with?
It depends on the problem. Dry winter air points to a humidifier, a damp basement to a dehumidifier, and dust or allergies to an air cleaner. We’ll look at your home and recommend what will actually make a difference.
