Asure℠ Extended Service Plans for Amana & Daikin Ductless Systems
Manufacturer warranties cover parts, not labor. An Asure℠ Extended Service Plan adds labor coverage, and on some plans extra parts coverage, to your new Amana brand or Daikin Ductless system. As an authorized Asure dealer, Rest Assured HVAC can add a plan when we install your equipment.

What an Asure℠ Plan Adds
Your manufacturer’s limited warranty covers parts, and the longer terms require registration within 60 days. An Asure plan is separate coverage you add for the equipment you want protected. Each unit gets its own plan, so an air conditioner and a furnace each need one.

Covers the labor to repair or replace parts that fail from a manufacturer’s defect under normal use. Labor-only plans don’t include parts.

Adds replacement parts, and the labor to install them, for the same kinds of failures. Extends parts coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty for the length of the plan.

One-Time Unit Replacement
If the compressor or heat exchanger fails from a manufacturer’s defect, the manufacture provides and installs a new equivalent unit, one time. Years 11–15 on S-Series, or years 1–5 on select packaged units.

Asure plans are backed by the manufacturer, not an outside administrator, and you’ll never face a deductible on a covered repair.

One-Time Unit Replacement
Available to the original homeowner on select models. Coverage applies if the compressor or heat exchanger fails from a manufacturer’s defect.

Daikin Mini-Split Plan Options
Daikin ductless plans are written per unit: each indoor unit and each outdoor unit gets its own plan. Choose 10 or 12 years of coverage.

How an Asure℠ Plan Works
From installation day to your first covered repair.
We Add It at Installation
We submit your plan with your installation paperwork. Plans must be submitted within six months of installation, so it’s easiest to add one when we install your system.
Coverage Starts After Installation
Coverage begins on the later of the day you buy the plan or the 31st day after installation.
Keep Your Agreement
You’ll receive an Extended Service Agreement. Keep it with your important documents. You’ll need the agreement number plus the model and serial number when you call for service.
Call Us for Covered Repairs
Call us at (847) 224-2420. Covered repairs must be done by an authorized service provider, and we’ll handle the claim paperwork.
What’s Not Covered
Asure plans cover failures caused by manufacturing defects under normal use. Your agreement lists every exclusion. These are the main ones:
- Routine and seasonal maintenance, such as cleaning coils, drains, burners and filters. An Asure plan isn’t a maintenance contract.
- Damage from misuse, accidents, improper installation, excessive voltage, acts of nature or corrosion.
- Equipment ordered over the internet, moved from its original location, or installed in commercial or non-owner-occupied buildings.
- Repairs by anyone other than an authorized service provider.
- Overtime charges for repairs outside normal business hours, under the agreement.
- Costs beyond the repair itself, such as property damage, lost use of the unit, utility costs or lodging.

Moving to a New Owner
Parts and parts & labor plans can transfer to the next homeowner. Labor-only, compressor and unit replacement coverage stays with the original owner. Transfer terms and any fees are in your agreement.
30 days
Cancel Within 30 Days
Under the agreement, you can cancel within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund if no claim has been paid. After that, you receive a pro-rata refund of the unearned amount, less a small administrative fee and any claims paid.
Owner-occupied
Homeowners Only
Asure plans are offered on owner-occupied residences, not rentals, multi-family or commercial buildings.
An Asure℠ Plan Works Alongside Your Warranty
Register your equipment within 60 days of installation to unlock the manufacturer’s longer Limited Warranty terms. Amana and Daikin also require annual preventive maintenance by a licensed contractor to keep some registered coverage, such as unit replacement. Check the warranty page for your brand:

Does the manufacturer’s warranty cover labor?
No. Manufacturer warranties cover parts. An Asure℠ Extended Service Plan adds labor coverage, and parts & labor plans add parts coverage for the length of the plan.
How long do I have to add an Asure℠ plan?
Plans must be submitted within six months of installation. It’s simplest to add one when we install your system, and we’ll go over the options in your quote.
How much does an Asure℠ plan cost?
Cost depends on the equipment, the type of coverage and the length of the plan. We’ll price the options for the exact units in your quote.
Is there a deductible?
No. You’ll never face a deductible on a covered repair.
Do I still need to register my equipment?
Yes. An Asure℠ plan is separate from the manufacturer’s limited warranty. Register within 60 days of installation to get the longer parts and unit replacement terms, except in states and provinces that don’t allow coverage to be conditioned on registration. Can I buy an Asure℠ plan online or from any contractor?
No. Asure plans are only sold through authorized Asure dealers. Manufacturer warranties don’t apply to equipment bought online unless a dealer that follows all applicable codes and licensing requirements installs it, and Asure agreements exclude products ordered over the internet.
Does an Asure℠ plan cover maintenance?
No. Asure plans cover failures from manufacturing defects, not routine or seasonal maintenance. Amana and Daikin also require annual preventive maintenance to keep some registered coverage, such as unit replacement, so a maintenance plan pairs well with an Asure plan.
What happens to my plan if I sell my home?
Parts and parts & labor plans can transfer to the next homeowner. Labor-only, compressor and unit replacement coverage stays with the original owner. Transfer terms and any fees are in your agreement.
