Humidity Control

Radon Control
Radon is a colorless, odorless gas and the leading cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. Testing once a year is a good habit. We don’t test for radon or install mitigation systems: in Illinois that work must be done by a professional licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
Zoning Control
Zoning lets you set comfortable temperatures in different parts of the house, from multiple locations or the AprilAire app, while reducing energy use.

What is the AprilAire Healthy Air System?
A whole-home approach to indoor air quality that combines air filtration, humidity control and fresh-air ventilation, with optional zoning, all working with your heating and cooling system. AprilAire also offers radon control, which we don’t install.
Do I need every part of the system?
No. Many homes start with one piece, like a humidifier or a better air cleaner, and add more later. We’ll recommend what makes the biggest difference for your home first.
How well do AprilAire MERV 16 filters work?

Can it be added to my current system?
