Commercial HVAC/R Financing
Commercial HVAC Financing in Elgin & the Fox Valley
Replacing rooftop units, a boiler or a walk-in cooler shouldn’t drain the account you run the business out of. Through the OPTIMUS platform, we offer commercial equipment financing funded by Navitas Credit Corp, so you can put in the right equipment now and pay for it out of operating budget instead of capital.
- Finance the whole project, equipment and installation
- You don’t need to own the building
- You own the equipment at the end of the term
- Subject to credit approval
Who It’s For
If the building has a roof, a furnace room or a cooler, this applies. Navitas funds equipment for a wide range of organizations, including plenty that don’t fit a normal bank box.
Worship
Churches & Religious Organizations
Sanctuaries and halls are expensive to heat and cool, and congregations rarely have the cash sitting there.
Food service
Restaurants & Bars
Rooftop units, make-up air, walk-in refrigeration and the kitchen exhaust that keeps you open.
Care
Medical & Dental Offices
Comfort and air quality that patients notice, without tying up the practice’s credit line.
Learning
Schools & Education
Classroom comfort and ventilation upgrades, including non-profit and private schools.
Mission
Non-Profits
Organizations that own or occupy a building and need the equipment to work.
Commerce
Retail, Offices & Property Owners
Storefronts, suites, and landlords replacing equipment across multiple units.
What You Can Finance
Total project financing means the quote goes in as one number. It isn’t limited to the box itself: the labor, the sales tax, the delivery and even an extended warranty can ride along on the same agreement, so nothing has to come out of pocket separately.
- Rooftop units and packaged equipment
- Commercial furnaces, boilers and split systems
- Commercial heat pumps
- Chillers and cooling equipment
- Refrigeration, including walk-in coolers and freezers
- Air compressors
- Controls, thermostats and building management upgrades
- Ductwork, ventilation and indoor air quality equipment
- Installation and labor as part of the same project
- New or pre-owned equipment
- Sales tax and delivery rolled into the same agreement
- Extended warranties and labor agreements
Not sure whether something qualifies? Put it on the quote and we’ll find out before you commit to anything.
Why Finance Instead of Paying Cash
Keep Your Capital
The money stays available for inventory, payroll and the things that actually grow the business.
Leave the Credit Line Alone
Equipment financing sits separately, so your bank line stays open for what it’s meant for.
Predictable Monthly Cost
A fixed monthly amount you can budget around, rather than one large hit to a single quarter.
Possible Tax Treatment
Equipment financing may qualify for Section 179 treatment. We are not tax advisors, so ask yours how it applies to your business.
You Own It at the End
At the end of the term the equipment is yours. It is not a perpetual rental.
Do the Job Once, Properly
Financing often means installing the right-sized, higher-efficiency equipment instead of the cheapest thing that fits today’s budget.
How It Works
Four steps, and most of it is electronic.
1. We Quote the Project
We walk the building, size the equipment and give you one project number.
2. You Apply
A short business application goes to the funding source. Credit decisions generally come back quickly.
3. Documents
A short agreement, signed electronically. No stack of paperwork.
4. We Install
We schedule the work and the funding source pays us directly, so you’re dealing with one contractor, not a finance runaround.
Ready when you are: apply for business financing, or call (847) 224-2420 and we’ll start with the quote.
Who Provides the Financing
We’re an HVAC contractor, not a lender. Commercial financing is arranged through OPTIMUS, the lending platform of EGIA Finance, and funded by Navitas Credit Corp, a United Community company that specializes in commercial equipment financing. Navitas makes the credit decision and sets the rates and terms. Rates, terms and program availability are not published here because they depend on your business and the project; your quote and agreement will show them in full.

Commercial Financing FAQs
Do I need to own the building?
No. Building ownership is not required for commercial equipment financing, which is what makes this work for tenants and leased spaces.
What kinds of businesses qualify?
A wide range, including churches and religious organizations, restaurants, medical and dental practices, schools, non-profits, retail stores, offices and property owners. Approval depends on the business, not the category.
Can labor and installation be included, or just equipment?
Both, and more than that. Commercial equipment financing covers the total project, so the equipment, the installation labor, the sales tax, delivery and an extended warranty can all go on one agreement instead of you paying pieces of it out of pocket.
Can I finance used or refurbished equipment?
Yes. Both new and pre-owned equipment qualify for commercial equipment financing, which matters if a good used rooftop unit or a refurbished chiller is the sensible answer for the building. We’ll tell you honestly when used is a false economy on a piece of equipment you need to last.
Will this affect my personal credit?
The application is underwritten on the business. Depending on the size and history of the business, the funding source may also ask for a personal guarantee or review personal credit. They will tell you what is required before you commit to anything.
How long does a decision take?
Usually not long. Applications go straight to the funding source, and timing depends on the size of the project and what documentation they need. We will tell you where things stand rather than leaving you guessing.
Can I write the equipment off on my taxes?
Financed equipment may qualify for Section 179 treatment, which is one of the common reasons businesses finance rather than pay cash. We are an HVAC contractor and not tax advisors, so confirm with your accountant how it applies to your situation.
Who actually owns the equipment?
You do, at the end of the term. This is equipment financing, not a perpetual rental.
Is Rest Assured HVAC the lender?
No. We arrange financing through the OPTIMUS platform, and Navitas Credit Corp funds it and makes all credit decisions. We install and service the equipment. Questions about your application can go to us at (847) 224-2420 or to OPTIMUS at (833) 678-1687.
Is this the same as the financing on your homeowner page?
No. The homeowner programs are consumer loans and lease-purchase agreements from different providers. Commercial financing is a separate business product with its own application and its own funding source.
